Ms. Catherine Law from Harvesting Law Firm was named in
the Ministry of Justice of PRC’ s “1,000 Foreign-related Lawyer Talents List”
After Ms. Catherine Law from our law firm was selected in the Guangdong Foreign-related Intellectual Property Lawyers List and the Guangdong Foreign-related Leading Lawyer Talents List in 2017, she was selected in the “1,000 Foreign-related Lawyer Talents List” again on March 21. Conducting by Ministry of Justice of the People’ s Republic of China, 988 lawyers from all over the country was selected in the list, which includes 125 intellectual property lawyers.
To provide better legal service for “the Belt and Road” construction, the establishment of this talent pool is aimed at strengthening the construction of foreign-related law service team and cultivating a group of high-qualified foreign-related lawyer talents. The list has been published in DOJ’ s official website. According to the follow-up working arrangement, the Department of Justice will also compile and print Nationwide 1,000 Foreign-related Lawyer Talents Roll, which is available for related government organs and enterprises to enquiry.

Ms. Catherine Law is the deputy director of Harvesting Law Firm. She received dual bachelor degrees in economic law and finance from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. After graduating, she enrolled in Sun Yat-sen University, the place where she received a master degree in civil and commercial law. Before establishing Harvesting, she was a practicing lawyer who has worked in Deheng (Guangzhou) Law Firm for 12 years. As a senior lawyer who specializes in handling foreign-related matters ever since 2003, she was not only named in the Guangdong Foreign-related Leading Lawyer Talents List and the Guangdong Foreign-related Intellectual Property Lawyers List in 2017, but also named in the Nationwide 1000 Foreign-related Leading Lawyer Talents List in 2018. Both English and Japanese are her working languages.
